Green Fat Burning Smoothie Recipes
You know, there are a lot of people out there who would not even contemplate the idea of looking into green fat burning smoothie recipes.
This is a great shame considering green smoothies are far more effective for weight loss than fruit smoothies as there is a lower amount of sugar and a higher amount of fat-burning nutrients and vitamins. Let me introduce you to some of my favorites!
Spinach Smoothie, Sweetened
This spinach smoothie is lightly sweetened. This will make it slightly better than a few others on this list for those who are new to the world of green fat burning smoothie recipes. This is because it will not taste drastically different from a fruit smoothie. Sure, you will taste the green, but at least it won’t be hideous!
You will need to the following ingredients to throw together this smoothie:
- 2 Cups of Spinach Leaves, make sure they are packed into those cups really tightly. You are going to need a few of them!
- 6 Ounces of Greek Yogurt, try to get reduced fat or fat-free if possible.
- 2 Tablespoons of Avocado, Chopped.
- 2 Tablespoons of Lime Juice, Fresh
- 15 Grapes (Red or Green, just choose whatever you prefer)
- 1 Pear. It needs to be peeled, cored, and chopped.
Just put all of those ingredients in a blender. You should have a delicious-tasting smoothie in just a couple of minutes! (or seconds, depending on how powerful your blender actually is!)
High Fiber Green Smoothie
We are going to be kicking the green ‘up a notch’ with this particular smoothie. Don’t worry, there is still going to be a bit of sweetness here, but you will be enjoying a whole lot more of the awesome green stuff. I find that this particular recipe works well in the morning due to the amount of fiber in it. The amount of fiber in that glass should be more than sufficient to keep you going all the way through to the afternoon! This means that you will be snacking on those ‘weight boosting’ snacks.
You will need:
- 2 Cups of Spinach, Tightly packed again.
- Quarter of a Pineapple
- Quarter of a Lemon
- Quarter of a Lime
- Quarter of an Orange
- 2 Apples
- Half a Cucumber
- Quarter of a Celery Head
- Half a Bunch of Parsley
- 1 Bunch of Mint
- 3 Carrots
All you need to do is combine the ingredients together in a blender. It should take seconds (chop the heavy fruits if your blender is low on power). You may wish to add some water if it is too thick.
Green Cocktail Packed with Vitamins
Not much to say about this particular recipe. All you need to know is that it is packed with vitamins and minerals. Combine the following ingredients in a blender:
- Cup of Papaya
- Half an Apple (Green if possible)
- Half a Banana
- Half a Cup of Kale
- Half a Cup of Spinach.
